Contents of the study
Bachelor in nursing is organized in three units, three year full time or four years part-time. The students learning activities are related to both theoretical knowledge and clincal practice in different levels of health care.
Studies in clinical practice takes place in both hospitals, nursing homes and home based care - totally 52 weeks of a bachelor in nursing.
Curriculum consists of three diciplines:
- Nursing science
- Medical and natural sciences
- Social sciences
Further studies
Bachelor in nursing qualifies for master- and PhD- studies in college universities and universities in Norway and abroad.
