Knowledge  – the student:

  • Knows methodological principles in research
  • Accounts for the literature survey as a method
  • Accounts for the nursing field`s perspective on humanity, relational and moral dimensions
  • Accounts for the theoretical perspective in nursing
  • Accounts for the elements in knowledge-based practice
  • Shows comprehensive knowledge about the maintenance of the patient`s basic needs in the examination of illness
  • Accounts for the nursing of acutely, critical, long-term and chronically ill patients, based on work, decision-making and documentation processes
  • Accounts for the teaching, health-promoting and preventative aspect`s significance for acutely, critically, long-term and chronically ill patients
  • Has knowledge about organisation and management in the specialist health services
  • Shows insight into health legislation`s regulation of duties and rights among the actors in the health services

Skills  – the student:
