Knowledge
After having successfully completed this course, the student should:
• have an overview of the most important disciplines and methods involved in the design of digital media
• know different techniques for development of ideas and innovation
• know the most important methodologies for project management and teamwork
• have thourough knowledge about prototyping, iterative design and user testing
Skills
After having successfully completed this course, the student should be able to:
• work systematically with the development of innovative ideas and concepts for design of digital media
• work systemically with developing an idea from early sketch to “proof-of-concept”
• analyze and evaluate the creative and innovative potential of a design concept
• organize and carry out a group project in a methodic and systematic manner
• write academic reports about the student's own design work, in coherence with basic standards for academic writing

the semester. Grading is done on the basis of the final portfolio.
