Expected learning outcomes
The student shall be able to understand fundamentals in Digital technique neccesary to learn how programmable electronic ciruits an microcontrollers work. The shall learn about modern microcontrollers architecture and program development on a low level. The student shall learn to see the links between hardware and software and the relation between high and low level programming.
Topic(s)
Introduction to Digital technique: number systems and codes, Boolesk algebra, logical and combinatoric circuits, latches and flip-flops, sequensial circuit, synchronized circuits, AD- og DA-converters. Project.
Embedde systems:
- Software: Programming in assembly and C.
- Hardware: CPU, busses og memory, parallell-/serial IO, interrupt, timers, DMA, numeric prosessors
