Expected learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will have basic knowledge of wiring for both water supply, sewerage and stormwater systems. In addition, students will have a general knowledge of water treatment and wastewater purification methods.

Skills:
The students should be able to:
    -describe the main components of a water supply, sewage, and stormwater system
    -describe the most common treatment methods for drinking water and wastewater
    -describe known methods for treatment and use of sludge
    -make a reasoned choice between available drinking water sources
    -make a reasoned choice between water treatment and wastewater purification methods
    -explain the basic operation of the water treatment and wastewater purification facilities

General competence:
The students should be able to:
    -Convey overview of the subject, for simple judgment and communication
