The Section for Technology and Management has close connections to the local industry. The section has skills in Material Technology, Product Development and Product Design, and also Company Management, Production Management, Quality Assurance and Environmental Requirements. These factors are all important in developing a good company.

El-Beetle

Seven engineer students at GUC have developed the first el-beetle in Norway! -This have been much fun, tiresome and rewarding, says the students.

ENT3R

The research work in Jotunheimen, which amongst others associate professor Rune Strand Ødegård at GUC is a part of, are now receiving international attention after a visit last week from the news agency Reuter.

Smart Building

“BuildingSMART”, which is also known as Building Information Modelling (BIM) is becoming an increasing important concept in the building and construction industry. At Gjøvik University College (GUC), a number of different technical groups have joined together in a project aimed at making the building and construction industry even smarter.
