R1 (2MX/2MY/3MZ) or equivalent qualifications are required in addition to the normal admission requirements for higher education for entry to the following courses:

• Bachelor in Information Security
• Bachelor in Geomatics
• Bachelor in Network and system administration
• Bachelor in Software Development.
• Bachelor in Game Programming

For those who do not meet these requirements, Gjøvik University College offers a 4-week summer course that teaches an approved course equivalent to 2MX. Entry to the above Bachelor courses depends on successful completion of this summer course.
The course starts in the first week of July and lasts for about four weeks. Applications for admission should be sent directly to Gjøvik University College. Passing this course fulfils the entrance requirements for the above named Bachelor courses of study that require 2MX.
