Informatics
The section for information technology is responsible for GUC's data-related bachelorprograms and the master degree in information security. The study programmes have focused on the four areas of expertise of operating data, programming, software and information security. In June 2008 the application for PhD information was approved. The section has an international environment an international environment with people from 7 different countries who research and teach within IT.
Student assignments
Artem Poryadin from MSc. in Information Security is, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bernhard Hämmerli from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland, making a comprehensive analysis of today's electronic payment, credit card and online banking markets.
