Gjøvik University College has a long history of teaching finance and administration. The Economy and Management programme continues these courses with a programme that has a clear business profile, is interdisciplinary, and career oriented. This enables graduates to qualify for a wide variety of jobs in business and public administration. In the third year, students are encouraged to focus on one of the three specialist areas offered - commerce, industry, or international/marketing.
