Christoffer Nordnes is elected head of the Student Parliament. – I`m looking forward to new challenges and to continue the good dialogue with the management at GUC, says Nordnes.
The Student Parliament is the highest organ of decision-making for students at GUC. After the annual meeting Tuesday night the composition of the Student Parliament became clear, and Nordnes was elected leader.
Nordnes is 24 years old, originally from Sandefjord, and a student in Bachelor in Information Security, second year. - I am very interested in student politics. Earlier I also was the representative of my class and the representative for the students and at the Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology, Nordnes tells.
Nordnes believes it is important to get the message out about the Student Parliament and what it can do for the students. – In many ways, we are the spokesman of the students in relation to management, and the representative system is absolutely essential, Nordnes says. Quality of education and the educational setting are two important areas he points out, which are important to focus on continuously.
