Journal papers
For research communities to get journal papers approved happens all the time, but to get two papers approved in one day is rare. – An odd coincidence, but of course very good news for us, says Associate Professor Ivar Farup at The Norwegian Color Research Laboratory.
Ivar Farup is co-writer on both of the approved journal papers. One article: «STRESS: A framework for spatial color algorithms» is written in cooperation with Øyvind Kolås and Alessando Rizzi and will be published in Journal of Imaging Science and Technology. The paper deals with automatic color correction and increasing of contrast using an algorithm.
The paper «Riemannian formulation and comparison of color difference formulas» gives us a tool to measure color differences. Dibakar R. Pant is together with Ivar Farup author of this paper which will be published in Color Research and Application.
-It was fun to receive the message that both papers were approved within few hours. This is definitely not a daily incidence, says Farup.
