Exchange in Peru?
-Peru has so much to offer! Culture, history and good academic environments, says Maria Gracia Boluarte at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola.
Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola situated in the capital Lima, has ten thousand students and programs within the areas media, economics and business administration as well as informatics. The first exchange student from GUC went to this university in Peru in February 2011.
-This is GUC’s first exchange agreement with a country in South-America, now we have an agreement with 24 countries all over the world, says Bente Gaalaas Rønningen, Head of International Office at Gjøvik University College and Lillehammer University College.
15th of February is the application deadline for going on exchange for autumn 2011. –We experience an increase in students from GUC who wants to go on exchange. This is a very useful experience in life. When you go on exchange you get a linguistic and cultural understanding which is personal educative, in addition to experience from working in a new and different academic environment. This is experiences employers know how to appreciate, Gaalaas Rønningen emphasises.
