OAIster

OAIster is a project of the University of Michigan Digital Library Production Service. The goal is to create a collection of freely available, previously difficult-to-access, academically-oriented digital resources that are easily searchable by anyone. Over 3,4 million records from 347 institutions (Sept 2004)

Scirus

Scirus is a search tool that contains both pre-chosen websites and the database ScienceDirect (Elsevier) and several other databases and pre-print archives: arXiv.org e-prints, CogPrints, BioMed Central, PubMed etc.

Free, online pre-print archive containing articles within psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, social sciences, philosophy, biology, and several subject disciplines within computer/informatics.
