NISlab - Norwegian Information Security laboratory

NISlab is the information security group at Gjøvik University College. The group conducts international competitive research in several areas of information and cyber security, supervises Ph.D. research projects in this field and operates study programs in information security at the Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Sc. level. Furthermore, NISlab hosts the Center for Cyber- and Information Security CCIS and the national COINS Research School of Computer and Information Security.

With around 50 affiliated persons NISlab constitutes one of the larger academic information and cyber security groups in Europe. As shown in the figure above we have a broad approach to information and cyber security. However, through our focus laboratories we have a particular focus on biometrics, forensics and information security management.
