Expected learning outcomes

Knowledge:

  • Candidates are capable of planning wireless networks, considering adequate stability and capacity.
  • Candidates are capable of understanding how data flows in wireless networks, and which security issues are present.

Skills:

  • Candidates can plan, install, configure and monitor wireless networks in small and medium-sized installations.
  • Candidates can do justified choices regarding safety, particularly regarding authentication and encryption.
  • Candidates are able to systematically do troubleshooting, and correct errors in existing installations.

General competence:

  • Candidates are able to explain the needs and use of wireless networks in small and medium-sized organization. In particular in relation to other infrastructure.
