Expected learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the students will
- Possess advanced knowledge within the broadly defined field of color imaging, including methodologies of capturing, processing, assessing, and reproducing color images; with particular emphasis on perceptual aspects
- Possess specialized insight and good understanding of the research frontier in selected parts of color imaging
- Be able to analyze existing theories, methods, and interpretations, and to challenge established knowledge and practice in the color imaging field
- Be able to critically review relevant literature of relevance to the selected topics in the field
- Be experienced in acquiring new knowledge and skills in a self-directed manner
- Be able to communicate academic issues, analysis, and conclusions, with peers and specialists in the field, in oral and written forms
