Expected learning outcomes

Knowledge:

  • Explain the signal structure of common modulated signals
  • Know methods for signal  modulation/demodulation
  • Know methods for signal coding/decoding
  • Know the different wireless broadcasting systems

Skills:

  • Able to do calculations with modulated signal
  • Able to simulate modulated  signal using computer simulation tools
  • Able to describe and perform calculations for wireless broadcasting and communication systems

General qualifications:

  • Understand the different techniques for signal modulation/demodulation, coding/decoding and system architecture used in various wireless systems
  • The use of computer simulation tools for simulating wireless broadcasting and communication systems
  • Understand and apply English literature

Re-sit examination

Ordinær kontinuasjon på muntlig eksamen med mulighet for ny muntlig rett etter i inneværende semester dvs. engang i januar.

Ikke kontinuasjon på prosjektarbeid, må tas på nytt neste gang emnet avvikles
