- Materials selection in design


- Atomic structure, arrangement, and movement
- Controlling the microstructure and mechanical properties of materials
- Design materials (Steel, Light metals, Ceramics, Polymers, wood and Composites)
- Processing and surface treatment examples
- Materials selection in design
