Expected learning outcomes
The aim of the BEng Computer Science is to give a solid base for further learning and development. On completion of the programme, the students will have knowledge and skills within computer science in general as well as in a specialised field. The programme has a main focus on programming, but the courses cover both technical as well as application-oriented topics. Depending on the choice of specialisation, the student will be equipped to master system development processes, programming of large data systems or system administration.
Students qualify for entrance to IT related master studies (e.g. Master of Media Technology and Master of Information Security at Gjøvik University College).

The students can study abroad in the fourth semester. They can choose between the following partner institutions:

- Fachhochschule Schmalkalden, Germany
Admission Criteria
General matriculation standard with special requirements in mathematics (3MX) and physics (2FY).
